Lion Pommel
The pommel and part of the grip from an 18th Century Kandyan ceremonial sword. The intricacy of the metalwork is staggering, as it often is on ceremonial weaponry. You probably couldn’t have won a fight against an unarmed three-year-old with this but you’d have looked damned good failing at it.
Antique Comb
A decorative comb from the Kandy period, made, most likely
of horn (the museum is vague about this)
